O espa\u00e7o conta com mais de 40 mil livros para empr\u00e9stimos e um espa\u00e7o confort\u00e1vel para leitura e estudos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-cki\">Em comemora\u00e7\u00e3o ao octogen\u00e1rio, a Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo preparou uma homenagem com grava\u00e7\u00f5es de depoimentos de pessoas que cresceram estudante na Biblioteca Municipal e acompanharam toda a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do espa\u00e7o f\u00edsico. O document\u00e1rio ser\u00e1 exibido na pr\u00f3xima segunda-feira (25), no Cultura em Casa, que est\u00e1 no site da Prefeitura de Uberl\u00e2ndia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-r4hc\">A Biblioteca da cidade foi fundada em 24 de outubro de 1940 e ganhou o nome em homenagem ao ex-presidente da Rep\u00fablica Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira em 31 de agosto de 1976, no anivers\u00e1rio de Uberl\u00e2ndia. Hoje o espa\u00e7o est\u00e1 localizado no acolhedor Centro Municipal de Cultura (antigo f\u00f3rum), na Pra\u00e7a Jacy de Assis, no centro da cidade.
